Sample participant comments:
  • I feel empowered
  • This training was eye opening. I feel empowered and confident in identifying risk factors and reaching out to peers, colleagues in need following this session.
  • Thank you for offering this incredible training!
  • Thankful this training was provided and I could be part of it.
  • This was one of the most helpful and relevant trainings I have attended.  I took away more information than I have with other similar trainings.
  • Hands down, most impactful training I have ever attended. And that's with 18 years of social work CE under my belt. Thank you!
  • This was one of the best trainings I've attended in years.  I highly recommend the program for everyone.
  • I think everyone should have REACH training. I will definitely use what I learned to help those I serve, my colleagues, and myself.
  • Wow, a very eye opening experience!!
  • This was a great class, I would highly recommend as many people as possible take it!

  • I enjoyed every second of the program and very proud to be part of the REACH program.

  • Well presented and informational class. After losing my nephew to suicide I appreciate this opportunity to help others who may be reaching out.

  • A week before I completed the training, I saw a coworker using REACH prevention strategies with another colleague they were concerned about. This reminded me of how valuable it is to stay up to date with the ever-evolving best evidence-based practices, so I made it a priority to reschedule and was able to attend a different session that same week. Thank you for providing this training!

  • I decided to take this course because just a week earlier my wife attempted suicide.  The course helped me a lot to understand how and when to help her to find a pathway out of the darkness.

  • I feel as if I learned a lot and am ready to help anyone who needs it, and feel more confident in my abilities to be direct about suicide even when it is uncomfortable and awkward.

  • I thought that this training was very well done. It has definitely changed how I view suicide and the discussion around it. I feel that I have a much better understanding of what to do in a situation where suicide/self harm is a possibility.
